Meet Our Dental Team – West Jordan, UT
Experience & Kindness are the Hallmarks of Our Care
We wouldn’t be able to provide the outstanding care that patients expect from us were it not for our dedicated dental hygienists, assistants, and front desk staff. They’re always ready to answer patients’ questions and concerns, whether they have to do with a specific treatment or navigating their dental insurance benefits. Get to know our amazing West Jordan dental team members by reading their short biographies below.
Britany, Dental Hygienist
Britany loves making a difference in her patients’ lives, whether it’s big or small—it truly means the world to her! Before joining our team, she earned her associate degree in dental hygiene at SLCC.
Britany and her significant other have a young boy, and she says they are the lights of her life! When she isn’t spending time with family (camping, hiking, or doing movie nights), she likes to paint, read, and cuddle with her goofy cat, Marvel.
Mayra, Dental Office Manager
Mayra has been a part of the dental world for over a decade, with the majority of that time being spent in her current position as Dental Office Manager. She enjoys that her job allows her to get to know each of our patients while supporting our team members and helping them do their best work.
Mayra is a mother of four (including a set of twins), and her husband serves in the Army. As a family, you’ll often find them hiking, watching movies, and doing game nights.
Yesenia, Regional Manager
Yesenia’s main goal is to help our team members grow and thrive, and it’s always fulfilling to see them evolve as the years go by! She started her career by graduating from Advantage Dental Assisting School and has previous experience as a financial coordinator and office manager.
Yesenia and her husband, Eddie, have two beautiful kids, and they love to take trips to the park, the zoo, the aquarium, and the great outdoors whenever they can.
Debbie, Dental Hygienist
Debbie has had an amazing 30+ year career in dentistry, and for her, it’s all about meeting great people and helping them restore and maintain their dental well-being. She is a graduate of Old Dominion University and has previous experience as a medical assistant. Today, she is certified in laser treatment.
Debbie has two daughters and two granddaughters, and she likes to spend her weekends hiking, biking, exercising, gardening, and volunteering.
Jody, Dental Assistant
A graduate of Practical Dental Assisting, Jody loves helping patients feel great about their smiles not only aesthetically, but health-wise as well!
When she isn’t at the office, Jody dedicates most of her free time to her family, especially her young son. She also runs her own press-on nail business—she strives to make pretty nails accessible to all women who want to look bougie on a budget!
Melanie, Dental Assistant
Melanie says that the best thing about her job is that she gets to spend each day with awesome people that make work fun! She loves being surrounded by supportive team members as well as new and returning patients alike. She attended Productive Dental Assisting for her initial training.
Melanie’s family is originally from Mexico, but her parents came to the U.S. and raised her along with her two sisters in Salt Lake City. Today, she is married with a young daughter and two dogs, and she likes to spend her free time training service dogs and enjoying the outdoors. On any given weekend, you’ll find her hiking, swimming, tubing, or skiing and sledding when winter comes.
Isabella, Treatment Coordinator
Isabella has been in the dental field for over half a decade. She studied at the University of Utah for her undergraduate degree and later became certified in X-ray and dental assisting. Other than coordinating treatment plans and schedules, the best thing about her job is helping patients gain greater confidence by achieving their best smiles and improving their quality of life.
When she isn’t at the office, Isabella is spending time with her husband, their son, and their pet dog. Together, they enjoy being outdoors either at a cabin or lake, or camping in the middle of nowhere. In her spare time, she likes to read and is currently working to be certified to have a library, which will require 1000 books whereas she has 500. One interesting fact about her is that she was born and raised in Columbia and then moved to the United States when she was 8 years old.
